“You know, I think I would make the most of wherever we go. What matters to me is where the players feel most comfortable.”

Last week the Raptors announced that Toronto won’t be hosting the Raptors 2021 season after all. The federal government denied the NBA franchise’s request to play in Canada on Friday.

The decision comes after weeks of negotiations on the issue. According to a news release from the Toronto Raptors, the team was forced to find a new home for the 2020-2021 season. Several cities offered to host the team, including Kansas City and Louisville. It was announced last Friday that the Raptors will play in Tampa Bay. “So we’ll be away from our home and fans for now,” reads the statement.

“They say absence makes the heart grow founder. I’m not sure that’s possible for us – we love Toronto and Canada.”

Despite the change in location, coach and ProSpeakers.com Virtual Speaker Nick Nurse and NBA Coach of the Year has stated that it doesn’t matter where they end up as long as the team feels comfortable.

And even though Virtual Speaker Nick Nurse will be in Tampa Bay for the 2020-2021 NBA Season he will be available to join Virtual Events and Conferences through on-line platforms. Nick Nurse is a regular Virtual Keynote Speaker and has been inspiring and motivating audiences across Canada.
