Andre De Grasse has won a medal in every Olympic event he’s competed in. Making his Olympic debut at the 2016 Rio Games, he made history as the first Canadian to win medals in all three sprint events in a single Games. Andre continued his winning streak in Tokyo to bring home three medals, including a gold in the 200m event, making him the first Canadian male athlete to win since 1928.

  1. Rosie MacLennan – Virtual Olympic Speaker 

Rosie MacLennan is the first trampolinist to ever win back-to-back Olympic gold medals, winning at the 2012 and 2016 Games. She is also the first Canadian athlete to successfully defend an Olympic title at the summer Games and the first Canadian woman to win two gold medals in an individual event at the summer Games. Just weeks before 2020 Tokyo Games, she sustained multiple injuries, including ligament tears and bone bruises, and was unsure if she’d even be able to compete. But she persevered through recovery and went on to place fourth, after a nail-biting competition. Rosie is a high energy and energetic virtual Olympic speaker.

  1. Simon Whitfield – Motivational Olympic Speaker 

4x Olympian, Olympic Gold & Silver Medalist, 12x Canadian Champion Simon is a father, adventurer, businessman, community builder, mentor and one of Canada’s most accomplished and decorated athletes. Simon fulfilled his childhood dream of competing in the Olympics when he dove into the Sydney Harbour on September 17, 2000 but inspired a nation, as he passed 24 competitors in the final 10km run en route to winning the inaugural men’s Olympic triathlon gold medal.

  1. Heather Moyse – Olympic Speaker  

Four months after climbing into a bobsleigh for the first time, Heather represented Canada at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy. A fourth-place finish by the narrowest of margins felt like ‘unfinished business’ for this fierce competitor. So after taking a year to finish her master’s degree in occupational therapy, she returned to the bobsleigh track. Heather first captured the nation’s attention in 2010 while standing on top of the Olympic podium with her teammate, Kaillie Humphries.

  1. Kyle Shewfelt – Olympic Champion and Broadcaster

Kyle Shewfelt achieved his ultimate goal on Sunday, August 22, 2004, in Athens, Greece when he captured Canada’s first-ever Olympic medal in artistic gymnastics with his Gold medal performance in the floor exercise. In 2006 Kyle won multiple Commonwealth Games medals, a bronze medal and best sixth-place team finish at the World Championships and a silver medal at the prestigious World Cup Finals.
