Having served as both an assistant coach for the Chicago Blackhawks and an associate head coach for the University of Wisconsin's men's hockey team, he has honed his ability to inspire greatness in his players.

Granato's illustrious coaching career includes various successful stints, such as head coach of the Worcester IceCats and the Chicago Wolves, earning him the AHL's prestigious Louis A.R.
