The Head Coach of the Winnipeg Jets, Paul Maurice brings a unique perspective to any speaking engagement through his 14 seasons coaching in the NHL.

He was drafted in the 1985 NHL entry draft but Maurice had his career cut short due to an eye injury, and began his coaching career as an assistant with the Jr. Red Wings shortly thereafter.

Known for his mixture of humour and sarcasm, his straight talking, no nonsense approach to coaching translates into clear, actionable insights for your audience.

Drafted by the OHL’s Windsor Spitfires, he was recognized at an early age that he was wise he was beyond his years. Considered very well-spoken, he’s one of the best at being able to stand up in front of a group of men and motivate them and get them to buy into a common cause.

With this ability Maurice would become one of the youngest head coaches the NHL had ever seen. He’d certainly become the youngest one to last, reaching 1,000 games — with Hartford, Carolina, and Toronto — earlier in his life than anyone in NHL history.
