Karen Sealy

Multi award-winning Designer Karen Sealy is equally at ease in a hardhat or heels - her passion and knowledge of the two sides of design set her apart in her field. Karen grew up with a Father in the Trades and has experience "on the tools" and has a formal education in interior design and degrees in business and psychology. This background enables her to create fabulous spaces that look and feel great, and just as importantly stay on track and on budget.

Karen is the owner of Sealy Design Inc, and is a regular décor expert on Cityline and is the host and designer of HGTV's "Summer Home" s1. Karen is also the winner of HGTV's Designer SuperStar Challenge. Sealy Design has been honoured to win the HOUZZ awards for Design & Service every year since they've been awarding them. Karen's designs have been featured in a variety of media outlets from the New York Times and Elle Décor to the cover of Style at Home to Canadian Living and Canadian Home Trends.

As a recognized Travel Journalist and first interior design member of TMAC (Travel Media Association of Canada), Karen has created travel design stories for print and television. Karen is also a sought after International Speaker and has presented on stages from France to Germany to Canada and the United States.
