TSN Sports Reporter
Claude Feig has been part of the sports broadcasting team at CTV Toronto since May 1994.
Born in Venezuela, Claude moved to Canada at the age of 8 and grew up in North York.
"I was exposed to the 'Television culture' from an early age...my mom was an actress and model and she would bring me on sets," Claude explains, "and my love for sports came naturally. Growing up as both an athlete and fan made this an easy career choice."
Upon graduating from the Radio and Television program at Seneca College, Claude began his broadcasting career at Global TV as a sports editor and producer. He later moved on to TSN as a field producer and also as a sportscaster on TSN radio and the FAN 590 before joining the CTV Toronto news team. In 2011, he moved to TSN, where he is a reporter/NLL/CFL sideline host as well as a Senior Sports Anchor for TSN Radio. He also calls the NLL play-by-play, and was the TSN feature reporter at the Canada Winter games in Halifax in Feb 2011.
Claude worked the sidelines for TSN Radio's coverage of the 100th Grey Cup. He works the sidelines for TSN covering NBA and CIS football, including 3 Vanier Cups, and is also part time reporter for TSN Sportscentre.
Being a huge basketball fan, one of Claude's most memorable moments was reporting at the first Toronto Raptors game. One of Claude's biggest thrills to date was interviewing Pele in 1998 as a lead up to the World Cup. As a young boy growing up in South America, Pele was one of Claude's biggest sporting idols. Meeting him was the thrill of a lifetime. His other greatest thrill was meeting and interviewing Dr. 'J' Julius Erving.
Claude is a happily married father of 2 currently residing in the Toronto area.
