Jesse Hirsh is a broadcaster, researcher, and Internet evangelist in Toronto, Canada. He frequently appears on CBC radio and CBC Newsworld, where he explains and analyzes the latest trends and developments in technology using language and examples that are meaningful and relevant to everyday life.

"I'm old enough to be Jesse Hirsh's father. Yet over the course of countless hours together, discussing current trends, the next big thing or the future, the relationship is often reversed. He is the teacher and I am the student. I know of no one who understands modern society, the turn of events or especially the Internet, better than Jesse. He is the smartest young man I have encountered over my professional career." Allan Gregg, Chairman of Harris/Decima

"Jesse's perspectives on technology are superior to others for the simple reason that he is a thinker, not only an observer. He is sensitive to the human qualities in our technological environment and this enables him to differentiate between the insight and the decoy." Robin Uchida, Torch Partnership

“An unabashedly enthusiastic ringmaster, Jesse Hirsh, whose passion for the topic was nearly impossible to resist. As panel moderator, he also did yeoman's work in keeping the conversation flowing, even when confronted by an audience that, clearly, had very different views on what the focus should be." Kady O’Malley, Maclean's Magazine

“Jesse Hirsh has a proven track record as a digital media consultant who goes to where the future will be. His analysis of trends and his ability to recommend commercial strategies for the web are invaluable. He also has a unique ability to make connections between high technology and what is happening in society at large.” Robert Lewis, VP Content Development, Rogers Media Inc.

"Jesse Hirsh has a unique feel for the new media and what is happening. He is the "go to" guy on technology and its uses and abuses." Hon. Bob Rae

"There are any number of "technology experts" flogging their opinions these days. Jesse Hirsh is one of the precious few worth listening to and more importantly, trusting. He knows what you'll be talking about tomorrow, why it's hot and what you should be worried about." CBC Radio
