Dr. Kimberley Amirault-Ryan

Lead of Sport Psychology for the Canadian Olympic Committee, Performance Consultant

Dr. Kimberley Amirault-Ryan is internationally recognized for her groundbreaking contributions to the field of performance psychology.

As an accomplished leader and motivational speaker, she brings innovation, energy and a genuine insight to all her endeavours that yield targeted results. Dr. Amirault-Ryan lives the philosophy of embracing challenges and pushing the boundaries to achieve more for herself and her clients.

After completing her Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology at the University of Calgary, Dr. Amirault-Ryan established herself as a leader in her field, becoming the first woman to be the Performance Consultant with two of the largest professional sports organizations in North America, the New York Rangers and New York Knicks. Additionally, she is currently the Performance Consultant for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the NHL and a number of corporate executives, world-class athletes and elite coaches.

Dr. Amirault-Ryan helped the Canadian Women's Hockey and Canadian Cross Country Ski Teams bring home gold from the Salt Lake City Olympics in 2002, and the Canadian Speed Skating Team bring home gold and silver medals from the Torino Olympics in 2006. In 2008, Dr. Kimberley Amirault-Ryan was selected by The Women's Executive Network as one of "Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100". That year also marked her appointment as the Lead of Sport Psychology by the Canadian Olympic Committee, where she helped develop and implement each Canadian team's Preparation Plan for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics.

In addition to her position with the Olympic Committee, Dr. Amirault-Ryan is the Director of Sports Psychology at the Canadian Sport Centre Calgary, where she provides leadership to a multidisciplinary performance enhancement team dedicated to the support of over 500 elite athletes and coaches. She regularly lends her insights on the psychological aspects of elite performance to media outlets such as national and international newsprint and CBC and CTV Television.

Dr. Amirault-Ryan is a highly sought-after keynote speaker who powerfully conveys her philosophy of strategic performance excellence to a wide range of results-oriented professionals.
