Jack Mintz has been appointed to a blue-ribbon panel of 11 Canadian business and academic leaders to help advise the federal government through the current economic crisis. Mintz is an internationally renowned expert in fiscal and tax policy and former president of the C.D. Howe Institute in Toronto. “This is a critical time for many Canadians as the economy is seriously affected by world events,” says Mintz. “I will be interested to hear various views in order to provide the best advice that I can for Finance Minister Flaherty.”
